LC Series – High Flow, Wing Style Screw Connect Couplings

Holmbury LC Series couplings are designed for use in large systems, they are engineered with a heavy cast wing-style sleeve on the female which allows the operator to connect the couplings with ease.

They have a high flow capability and are available in sizes 1″-2″.

HSC Series – Heavy Duty, Poppet Style, Screw Connect couplings

Holmbury HSC 5000 Series of heavy duty, highpressure, screw couplings are designed to withstand the most severe pressure pulse applications, where other couplings suffer rapid failure. Used for excavator hammer attachments, shears, rock crushers, test rigs and other intense pressure pulse application.

PSB & PSP Series – High Pressure, Poppet & Ball Style Screw Couplings

PSB & PSP Series screw couplings can be connected and disconnected even with a low residual hydraulic pressure in the line. The screw connection mechanism eliminates Brinelling (indentation of the locking balls into the retaining groove) and thus makes the couplings suitable for high pressures and pressure pulse applications. Two sizes are offered, 1/4″ and 3/8″ NPT.

HFT Series – Flat Face, Screw Connect Couplings

HFT Series screw couplings are for high pressure pulse applications, they are designed to be connected/disconnected with up to 350 Bar residual pressure in the line.

Holmbury HFT Series, Screw Couplings have been developed as improved replacements for Holmbury VEP Series couplings. They are ideal for systems subjected to high pressure pulses since they are immune to Brinelling.

PTC Series – Heavy Duty, High Pressure, Screw Couplings

Holmbury PTC Series is designed for heavy-duty applications involving very high pressures and severe pressure pulse conditions.

Main uses include hand-held and machine mounted hydraulic hammers and attachments for construction, agricultural and municipal machines. The Holmbury PTC Series is interchangeable with Faster VVS Couplings.

RS Series – Leak Free, Screw Connect, Flat Face Couplings

The Holmbury RS Series is designed for heavy duty service conditions in construction plants, machinery and vehicles; high pressure pulse applications and agricultural machinery.

SP Series – High Pressure, Poppet Style Screw Connect Couplings

SP Couplings are designed to withstand high pressures and pressure pulses. High pressure pulses create forces that act to separate the male and female couplings. With couplings that use ball-in-groove retaining mechanisms, the separating forces are concentrated onto a relatively small area which can cause Brinelling, leading to leakage and eventually seizure of the coupling. (Screwed couplings have a screw thread retaining mechanism that distributes the separating forces over a large surface area, thus eliminating brinelling.)

TC Series – Screw Style, Tipper Couplings

Holmbury Tipper Couplings use a screw thread connection. The female coupling has a wing nut sleeve which enables operators to connect the couplings by hand, even when there is low residual pressure in the line.

PS Series – Heavy Duty, High Flow Demolition Couplings

PS series couplings have been specifically designed and patented for one of Holmbury’s OEM customers and now have been released to the general market. They are designed for excavators and heavy duty demolition equipment over 20 tonnes. They design allows them to handle high flow, high pressure pulse circuits without risk of disconnection or seal rupture. The coupling also makes it easy to dismantle equipment on these large machines within minutes something which was a lengthy process before.
